Expert Analysis
Jesse Etter | Prep Dig Scout
Smith has been locked in at middle back for her Northwest Juniors team, staying low and handling hard swings and deep shots to the corners. The Shorecrest defender has quick feet, and she adjusts well to float serves, squaring the ball up when she can and dropping accurate passes to her setter. Smith has a hard, diving float serve of her own and works hard to keep teams out of system when she is at the service line.
