About Kaitlyn

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

My gameplay style excels from encouraging and energetic leadership to serious and game ready at all times. As a libero and previous team captain, I chose my moves wisely as I read hitters very well and can move very reactively due to my quickness on the court.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a very resilient and perseverant player at all times. I push myself to be the most energetic on court, whether some teammates are bringing their own energy or not, I strive to always talk on court and bring up the hope of others, as there is always so much game to finish.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am involved in various academic and social clubs within my school, including Key Club, Sources of Strength, Rock Ridge Obsidian, and predominantly HerSports where I am the Vice President/Co-Founder of this in-school club. Many of the clubs I am involved in regard uplifting others and playing a big role in creating a community where others feel welcome.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have learned how to be a better leader and how to not let anyone doubt my skills as not only a player, but a person myself. These have helped my inside and outside of volleyball on how to persevere and grow to become better physically and mentally.
