About Kaitlyn

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I want to continually improve my volleyball skills through leadership and growth. I value my teammates and believe we achieve more when working together on and off the court. When we grow as a team, we all benefit.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I look forward to studying Animal Science in college and currently taking vet-med and animal science classes in high school. I will be participating in a vet-med practicum during my senior year.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

My high school offers summer volleyball camps for elementary and middle school players. I enjoy volunteering at these events and supporting young players who want to learn and grow in volleyball. Fun fact, I first went to one of these camps as a 3rd grader, fell in love with volleyball, and now get to volunteer at the same camp!

What type of college are you looking for?

I am seeking a college that values both athletic and academic development, with a strong commitment on nurturing student athletes. I would like to attend a smaller school in Texas where the community is close-knit, and the focus is on personal growth both on and off the court. I am looking for a college that provides a supportive environment for athletes while preparing students for their future.
