Please officially welcome Miss Rector to the State Rankings. She is currently ranked as the 73rd best overall prospect in the 2026 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. She plays for Midlothian High School and also for the Madfrog volleyball club. Kam is a cold-blooded killer on the pins. This past club season she has proven herself as a winner who deserved to be ranked. Currently in this school season, she is one of the highest scoring junior players with 247 kills on a very impressive .305 hitting percentage. Truly versatile as an attacker, she can score on both sides of the court with a multitude of shots. Her very long reach makes blocking her very difficult. By contacting the ball at such a high point, the blocker must wait a little longer to jump in order to time it correctly and most will not do this, which results in efficient scoring for Kam. Armed with a lightning quick arm swing and a very rapid wrist snap, she has some great pop on the ball. I do not think Miss Rector has hit her potential and if she continues to progress, she could move up the rankings.
