Lakin High has ensured we don’t have to wait until the club season to see Michaelis in action. This physical freshman is already setting a scorching scoring pace for the Broncs, teeing off in the middle or on the pin. We’re constantly drawn to these do-everything attackers who can make the most of any set at any spot along the net. That’s an apt way to describe Michaelis influence with Lakin, and she’ll make a similar splash with Southwest Pursuit this spring. Many of her club teammates occupy our watch list, too, so look out for this group.
