Conn (pictured) has done a good job adjusting to the setter role. Conn identified the hot hitters and did what she could to set them up for success. Conn also made a number of good first touches. Conn said whenever the team’s energy is up, the Indians play a lot better. Conn added the connections to her teammates are there because they’ve played together for a long time, thus making for a smooth transition to the setter spot.

Conn stays under control with her passing in the back row. Conn reads hitters well and moves in position to make those solid first passes. Conn only lunges or dives when necessary. Conn does a great job making things happen out of system. Conn had 350 digs, 153 assists and 76 aces to help the Indians go 26-13, win the 40th District Tournament and drive to the 10th Region semifinals.

Conn did a lot of setting for the Indians and it paid off giving the Indians another hitter and she put balls in the right spots all game. She can do the short and the long sets in addition to making good passes to set up the offense. Conn contributes at all six positions for the Indians.
