About Kate

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Competitive and always trying to give it my all while staying positive for my teammates and myself.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Academically focused and driven, but I try to maintain a good sense of humor while doing it.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Asian Club, volunteering for youth volleyball. Outside of school I play piano and have gotten involved in medical research.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Leadership from student government in the past and court captain during club season, hard work and perseverance and leading by example on and off the court. I always maintain a positive attitude and don’t get down on myself if I make a mistake because that can bring the team down. I am always encouraging others and celebrating their successes.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Recovery from concussion.

Court coaches nominated Fagley as a top Performer at the Washington Exposure Tour; the 2029 Roosevelt prospect was dynamic on the pin and showed the ability to score with range as an attacker. At 6’1″, the 2029 prospect made life difficult for opposing players with her big press as a blocker, and she showed a developing game in the back row.
