Please officially welcome Katelynn to the State Rankings.  She is currently ranked as the 57th best overall player according to our Prep Dig California State Rankings.  She plays volleyball at Redwood High School.  Miss May has been stellar this season to say the least.  Her offensive output in her first season on varsity as a sophomore stole the show.  As of right now she has amassed 383 kills on a whopping .322 hitting percentage.  With only 100 hitting errors, she has proven to be super efficient.  While most pins take some heat off of their swing when the set dies inside the antenna, Katelynn swings with all of her might and destroys defenses at will.  If her team’s serve receive gives her the ability to take a long four step approach, the defense better dig in their heels, because she will unleash fury with her powerful attack.  Not only is she dangerous when her setter gives her a high tempo set, but she can throttle some faster paced sets by speeding up her gifted footwork also.  Please help us congratulate her on earning a spot in our prestigious State Rankings.
