Katie Ha describes herself as a relentless defender who never gives up on a ball, and she leans on her communication, hustle, and ability to read hitters to keep plays alive and help her team stay organized. She wants college coaches to notice her energy, her consistency, and a team-first mindset that shows up on every point. A piece of feedback about her platform changed how consistent she is as a passer. She learned to keep her platform steady and angled toward her target instead of letting it get too flat or too high, and to move her feet to get behind the ball rather than reaching for it, giving her more control over the first contact.

Ha, who isn’t playing club this season, is excited to compete at a higher level in high school and continue growing as a libero, and what motivates her is knowing that every practice brings her one step closer to playing in college. She’s looking for a program that feels like a family, one that values both academics and athletics while still pushing her to compete.
