Kennedy hopes to give new Dixie Heights head coach Niah Drayton a solid hitting option in the middle. Kennedy has been working on her consistency during club season. Kennedy showed the potential to be a versatile hitter in the fall. She can go up and tap balls off blockers in addition to taking solid swings. Kennedy can disrupt the net with quicker arm swings and sound blocking techniques. Kennedy had 111 kills, eight solo and 24 assisted blocks for the Colonels this past fall.

Dixie Heights needs hitters to step forward once the new head coach takes over and Kennedy may be ready to take on one of those spots this coming fall. Kennedy took a number of solid swings at the pins and in the middle Saturday. Kennedy is also sound timing up her blocks.
