About Katie

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Always engaged and ready for the next play. Consistency and focused is another way to describe me.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Always focused on the next play and don't dwell on the past, always looking ahead. I am positive and focused.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am in Philanthropy and Youth, Student Council, Knowledge Bowl, Church Choir, Vacation Bible School, and band.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I am very involved in my school and community and have a 4.0 GPA. This involvement has allowed me to develop leadership skills to take with me into my adult life. We recently won the State VB Tournament and our theme was to be part of something bigger than yourself which is how we have tried to model our lives after.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I had a shoulder injury during the season and had to learn how to play injured. I adjusted my play accordingly and worked hard at PT.

What type of college are you looking for?

A college that is competitive in VB and where I fit well on the team. I am a thinking about going into Business so that would be another plus.

Her explosive first step and fast arm swing make her a terminal threat in both transition and out-of-system situations. Katie attacks with range—ripping cross-court, tooling the block, and going deep corner with confidence. She’s a true six-rotation player, consistently clean in serve receive and dependable in back-row defense. Her volleyball IQ is evident in how she reads blockers, adjusts her approach, and stays aggressive under pressure. Coaches, this is an Impact player with size, skill, and maturity—Katie needs to be on your 2027 recruiting radar.
