Player Bio
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
My gameplay style is all about having fun while being competitive. I thrive on the energy of the game and love to bring a positive vibe to the court. As an aggressive player, I play with intensity and focus, always striving to make impactful plays. I'm open to feedback and view coaching as an opportunity for growth, which helps me refine my skills and elevate my performance.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
My approach combines determination with a genuine care for others, making me a driven yet supportive player. On the court, I embody a competitive and aggressive spirit, always aiming to give my best while maintaining a positive attitude. I believe that having fun is essential to the game, and I strive to create an encouraging environment for my teammates.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
I am involved in our school journalism site, Buena Speaks. I write sports articles for my high school and hope to advance my writing skills and knowledge base, and start writing Arts & Entertainment. I was on the honor roll in junior high all 3 years of attendance and graduated with an honor role cord.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
Leadership is one of my strongest attributes; I enjoy taking the initiative and guiding my teammates both on and off the court. I also prioritize maintaining a positive atmosphere, especially in stressful situations. I believe that keeping everyone calm and focused not only enhances team performance but also fosters strong relationships among teammates.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
I had a minor broken wrist while playing Volleyball, which forced me to sit out for four months. Not playing was emotionally tough, volleyball is not just a sport for me, it’s a passion and a source of joy. I used the time off to focus on my rehab. This taught me resilience and perseverance. I came back stronger mentally & physically with a renewed appreciate for the game.
What type of college are you looking for?
A college that offers a strong volleyball program where I can continue to develop my skills and contribute to a competitive team. I value a supportive coaching staff and a positive team culture that encourages growth and camaraderie. Academically, I want to attend a college that provides a rigorous program in my field of interest, where I can challenge myself and pursue my academic goals.
