About Kayla

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Class of 2029 setter who plays every position on the court. Played on varsity as a freshmen and set all season. 2026 club season 17U setter and rightside.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Im very outgoing and willing to be the best player I can possibly be by growing each season to reach my full potential.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Ever since I was 13, I’ve played up in age groups for club volleyball and that experience since then has taught me the ups and downs in volleyball and it made me mature, and “grow up” faster by playing up. However, this has helped and benefit me in ways I couldn’t be more grateful for and has introduced me to a new game of volleyball.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I’ve faced several challenges over my volleyball career but the most significant one is how I’ve been looked down on for my age for every team I’ve been on. At a time, it destroyed my mentality as a little girl but as I grew older, I used it as fuel for the fire and ignored the things that have been said and done to me and it was the best decision I could ever make.

What type of college are you looking for?

Im looking for a college with a good program and one that fits my vibe best as possible. Since im still a freshmen, im still interested in seeing the type of college that fits me best.
