Laughlin stood out with her strong play in the season-opening Six Pack tournament. She’s taken a step forward from there. Laughlin embodies the necessary traits for success in the middle. A 6-footer with long arms, she shows excellent athleticism and agility. Laughlin times her swings and blocks well. She brings power, which should increase with added strength and development. That skill set and projection could play at a pin, too.

Laughlin enjoyed a super junior season this past fall as an all-around performer, ranking among Belle Plaine’s leaders in kills and digs. She fits nicely into this talented IPVA roster with her versatility clearing the way for her to help wherever needed. That’s mostly on the right side, where she complements AK Christensen AK Christensen 5'10" | OH Carlisle | 2025 State IA and keeps opponents from focusing too much defensive attention on the outside. She excels with consistency and reliability.
