Hagstrom is one of the more well-rounded, steady volleyballers competing in the Mississippi Valley Conference. I’ve witnessed it when watching her along the club and prep trails throughout the years. The senior was back at it again in late September when she was operating through six rotations for Prairie during its league match against Iowa City High at Xtream Arena in Coralville. Hagstrom is a good athlete that moves well, which helps her defend in the back row. Her leaping ability aids her in getting up in the air and ending points with a powerful swing. Hagstrom is one of those players that can do whatever a team needs in terms of contributions to success.

Hagstrom saw time on the Prairie Hawk varsity last season and those reps should increase significantly in 2025. Hagstrom has made sizable strides this club season, expanding her game and becoming more consistent. Versatility is a strength, Hagstrom displaying the makings of a six-rotation contributor for Prairie. She’s athletic with lateral quickness, jumping ability and improving skills. Hagstrom has the look of a breakout candidate for this prep season.
