About Keira

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Dynamic middle blocker with quick feet and a powerful hitting ability. Known for exceptional agility on the court, Keira excels in both offensive and defensive plays, making her a key asset to any team. With a strong understanding of game strategy, she effectively reads the opposition and anticipates plays. Keira is committed to teamwork and continuous improvement.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m an all in teammate. I’m quick witted and direct. I have a great time with my teammates, but know when to lock in. I’m 100% committed and love to compete.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

2025 Top Sophomore speech for my If I Could Change the World Project.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Team First, Self Last is a philosophy I carry each day in the choices I make, be it about my Team, my Family, My community. Leading is a privilege that comes without titles and one I embrace.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

At the end of my 9th grade year I was diagnosed with ADHD along with anxiety and a specific executive functioning skill challenge. I really struggled in school, at home and on the court. Learning I had these challenges actually helped me understand myself better and paced the way to a great 10th grade year. Facing adversity has set me up for success.

What type of college are you looking for?

My first interest is in animal research/biology. Finding a school with animal sciences, wildlife, marine life labs is priority. I love the big sport atmosphere, but care most about the culture as a whole of a school. My dream is to be a student-athlete. My parents were both college athletes and their experiences have taught me what a privilege it would be. I am open to all great experiences.

Keira delivered exactly what every coach wants from a middle. She sided out at a high rate and stayed available as an option throughout the rally. Her transition footwork kept her in scoring position, and she remained a threat in front and behind the setter. A middle with the work ethic to always be an option is one that develops quickly at the next level.

Keira’s presence pushed her court forward and helped her team sustain momentum in fast paced play.
