About Keira

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I believe I am quite consistant and reliable on the court. I anticipate opponent play, back up teammates and react quickly to unexpected ball travel,

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am not the loudest team member but generally friendly and respectful. I've been told I am a very coachable player and important to team cohesion

I participate in summer swim competiition in the Northern Virginia Swim League (NVSL),

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I have been very lucky to not have faced life challenges that would affect my play. Minor challenges such as coach preference, seniority, and louder voices have been minor challenges faced, and overcomem with patience and consistant play.

What type of college are you looking for?

Strong commitment to education at reasonable cost.

South Lakes was one of the surprise teams in volleyball this year, winning their first 14 matches. Towards the end of the season during the playoff chase they lost four of their last five, including three straight five set losses.

That success would have been difficult to achieve without the solid libero play from Keira McManus Keira McManus Keira McManus 5'6" | DS/L South Lakes | 2026 State VA . She moved from 152 to 130 in the rankings, making her rankings debut with her libero play for Loudoun Elite during the club season. Her play helped earn the club their first ever Junior National bid. Her ability to move quickly in the back row to gather digs extends rallies.
