Kenley Rudiger has stepped up in a big way for University, taking on a role that is different from the position she typically plays during club season. She has helped lead the offense throughout the opening weeks of the season while also making a major impact defensively. Rudiger is among the team’s statistical leaders on defense, consistently working to keep balls alive and extending rallies. Her versatility, effort, and willingness to embrace a new role have made her an important piece of University’s early season success.

Rudiger was connecting all night. She finished with 37 assists and averaged 12.4 assists per set, helping keep the University offense rolling. She found her hitters and kept the ball moving with a nice rhythm. After recently being featured in our 4A Setting Up Success article, Rudiger is already showing why she belongs on the radar.

Rudiger finished last season with 932 assists and 9.5 assists per set. She has a nice flow to her game and does a solid job getting her body into the right position before contact. Her footwork and positioning help her stay balanced, allowing her to deliver a clean ball to her hitters. Rudiger keeps the offense moving and gives her attackers a chance to stay in rhythm.
