About Makenna

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

My play style can be described as aggressive and crafty. I choose to deliver smart balls when setting and look for their weak open spots in hitting.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a very competitive and levelheaded teammate. I will never give up on a game, no matter how far down we are.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I have received many honor roll awards and I am very deeply involved in my school.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

My school has a very special program that I have learned how to speak, dress, and act professionally. Thanks to them, I have improved my leadership, life skills, and critical thinking abilities.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a medium-sized college with a beautiful nature filled campus and hands-on environmental courses. I want to be involved in as many outdoor activities as I can.

She consistently communicates with her hitters to get feedback and help them succeed against adaptable blockers. She is a vocal setter who moves her hitters around. Her confidence in her own skills seems to be contagious, inspiring her hitters to score.
