Smith was a dynamo on the backcourt and not many players matched her determination and energy to keep the ball off the floor. The libero didn’t hold anything back when chasing the ball on defense and made the most of her athletic tools to explode for the ball and get to it in no time. She also showcased tremendous ball control and was capable of delivering the ball perfectly to her setter even when she had to dive to dig it. That combination of ball control and the ability to cover ground also made of Smith one of the best passers in the event.
