About Kennedy

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

A mix of hustle, energy and determination to keep everything off the ground while maintaining accuracy

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality is next point. I cannot control the last, only my future and it’s in my hands to control the controllable. I always try and be the loudest and most energetic on the court and before anything keep my teammates feeling empowered.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Yes, I have received the Fox Valley Conference Leadership award and multiple academic awards

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’m outspoken, include others, a risk taker, and on and off the court people come to me to make decisions, I don’t want for someone to lead me I want to be the leader

What type of college are you looking for?

Competitive volleyball atmosphere, a group of leaders, a place where I can feel safe to grow and learn about myself and my future for volleyball, as well as a program that offers me a pathway into a successful academic career that supports my wanted profession.

Hunt just had a great energy about her, along with good libero play. She was vocal, upbeat, called the game on the court, played her role really well I thought. She dug some really hard hits, was very good in serve receive and had a good sense of the game and what was happening from play to play. Type of back row player you want on your squad.
