About Kennedy

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I would describe my gameplay as quiet, reliable, and dominant. I don't let much get me down in the game because I understand Volleyball is a mental game as much as a physical game.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I'm a quiet and shy personality. Which is why people tend to underestimate me. However, I am a dominant player that prioritizes defense. I will do whatever I can to help my team win. I don't let mistakes get to me because I know that won't help my team win. I focus on uplifting my teammates and getting the next point, block, or kill!

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am a member of my school's Student Government Association. I also take a rigorous course load as it is my intention to one day work in the medical field. Additionally, I love to cook. I am currently taking culinary classes in high school and plan to obtain my Culinary degree while in school.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I've really grown as a leader during my participation in Student Government at my school. As a member of SGA, it's important that I model good behavior and school spirit and I've had the opportunity to worked closely with teachers on special projects.

What type of college are you looking for?

I'm looking for a strong academic school with a team that feels like a family.
