Player Bio
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
My gameplay includes leading by example, encouraging teammates, and the ability to adjust on the fly.
Some characteristics I poses are: demonstrates high-skill, self discipline, decision making, builds trust and motivates teammates, adaptability to opponent strategies.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I am a very motivated, hard working, team first athlete. My passion for the sport drives my work ethic. I am eager to learn and coachable. Volleyball is my passion and I never pass up an opportunity to get better.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
Some things I’m involved with outside of volleyball include: FFA, varsity cheer, varsity stunt team, and FCA. In FFA, some of the activities I’m involved with are showing pigs, speech competitions, horticulture and livestock judging. Being involved in other sports and activities helps me be a more well rounded student and athlete. I have also received academic awards through my school.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
Some qualities I’ve developed through sports and other activities is a strong communication style. I am direct, and I value integrity, morals, and self discipline. I serve my community through my FFA chapter; some activities include food bank stocking, making blankets for the nursing home, and collecting diapers for parenting centers. I’m also a volunteer youth cheer coach.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
Growing up in a military family, I look at challenges as opportunities to get better. Something that I’ve been taught is there is always a way. With enough hard work and commitment, a lot of things are possible.
What type of college are you looking for?
I’m looking for a college and a team that develops personally and on the court. I want teammates who push each other to improve, celebrate successes together, and stay resilient through challenges. Ideally, the college would balance strong academics and a volleyball program with high-level competition, while offering a tight-knit community that feels like family.
