About Kenzie

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Scappy, court leader, fun, encouraging, solid serve receive, dependable, can put me in to serve at 24 to 24.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Fun, sometimes crazy, goof ball, loud, coachable, can't stand to lose, mentally tough in intense situations.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Fastest Skater in the nation - hockey, ASB leader for 4 years, Creative Worship Leader - 2 years

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I see myself as a leader but also understand how important it is to be encouraging to others. I'm the youngest of three girls and I think being the youngest has taught me to be mentally tough but have sympathy for others.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Being the youngest of three and having two parents that played volleyball in college and two sisters playing in college, it's hard not to compare myself to them. In high school, my sister is only one year older so it's been hard to see her get all the recognition in the libero spot but it has taught me to fight for her spot.

What type of college are you looking for?

I want to play at the highest level. I don't like losing. I don't like slow paced volleyball. I really thought I wanted to play beach volleyball in college because I get to touch the ball more and I'm always moving but I like how social indoor volleyball is and how my energy can change how my teammates play.
