About Keri

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I would describe my play style as loud and aggressive. I always try to run plays, I call my ball, and I play to win. As being a undersized hitter, I focus a lot on my technique when playing.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a competitive player that holds myself to high standards. I have been told that I am very coachable and that I am always willing to learn and fix something in my game. I can also reset quickly and stay positive after mistakes.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am in the Cambridge High School Band. I play the tuba and the piano.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Over time, leadership has been the biggest thing I've learned. I like to uplift and encourage my team and help everyone reset when morale gets down or if we aren't performing as anticipated.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

The biggest challenge that I always face is proving I can play my position competitively, despite my height. Because of my height, I have to work twice as hard to get coaches attention, but that just makes me more tough and competitive.

What type of college are you looking for?

I want to go a school that has a lot to offer athletically and academically. A school that will help me continue to develop my skills while playing the game that I love while earning a degree.
