Expert Analysis
Mike Graham | Prep Dig Scout
Hinson (pictured) split the sets for Augusts this fall and played a huge role in helping the Panthers win the first region tournament game in program history. Hinson has a good connection with the Augusta hitters, understanding where they like balls and doing what she can to set them up to succeed. Augusta head coach Paige McCord said Hinson has come out of her shell this year and has been more comfortable being vocal. McCord added Hinson has worked on her swing and done a good job this season with Augusta running a 6-2. That leadership could be key for Augusta taking more steps forward these next two seasons.
