The 5’5 Curtis is a fun prospect to watch as she just competes well in being aggressive and fearless with her arm to challenge the defense in front of her with good success. Recently surpassing 600 total kills for her two-season varsity career for Swanton, She is averaging a career best 4.9 k/s on a 41% kill rate. Her numbers across the board have improved including an uptick defensively as she is averaging 9.5 d/m. Swanton is 16-6 overall had a bye in the first round and will play Eastwood this week in DV Region 18 play.

Curtis is the top arm in the conference when it comes to total balls terminated. The Swanton sophomore is 5’4 and dynamic in all aspects of her offensive effort. With 326 total kills, she is well ahead of her freshman season as she is averaging 4.9 k/s. Aggressive in the air at the point of contact, if she has good space, she can strike the ball well from both sides of the court through space and with range. She also contributes 9.1 digs per match.

The 5’5 Curtis is putting up some big offensive numbers to open up the 2025 season. Finishing 2024 with 231 kills and a 3.0 k/s average, she is well ahead of that pace at 5.0 k/s and with an improved effort of a 45% kill rate. Opening the season with 29 kills in a 3-1 win over Stryker, Curtis earned 16 kills in their most recent win over Wauseon. Curtis is a dynamic hitter in the air when in rhythm and on time as she generates lift and good pace and control in the air to keep opponents off balance. Swanton has lost one match this season, the only one so far in which Curtis did not earn double-digit kills.
