About Kirra

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I play with high energy, court awareness, and a problem-solving mindset. I’m ready and proactive on every play, and I’m confident stepping in to make smart second contacts when needed.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m extremely dedicated to everything I do—whether it’s school, volleyball, or volunteering. I’m driven, focused, and always give 100%.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Yes, I’m a volunteer at Miracle League and Special Olympics.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I've developed strong leadership and teamwork skills by serving as team captain for five consecutive seasons. I’ve learned how to motivate my teammates, communicate effectively, and lead by example both on and off the court. I also value giving back to my community and regularly volunteer with multiple organizations, which has helped me grow in responsibility, empathy and time management.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I had anemia in 7th grade but never let that setback stop me. I stayed committed as Captain and helped my team double qualify for USAV Nationals. We went on to double qualify the following 2 years as well!

What type of college are you looking for?

I’d love to stay in Florida if possible, but I’m open to schools in other states!
