Kori came to Carrollton from Tyler and made an immediate impression. At 5’10” as a middle blocker in the 2030 class, the frame is already there and the way she moved through the system showed that the athleticism is developing right alongside it. Her closing speed at the block drew the most attention from court coaches early in the day. By the time the scrimmages started, they were watching her transition out of the net just as closely. She communicated well with her teammates and competed with the kind of focus that does not waver when the day gets long and the competition gets harder. She is a prospect that college programs will be talking about for a long time and staffs outside the region should get familiar with her before that conversation gets too far along without them.
