Small in stature but mighty in presence, Taylor was one of the more memorable freshmen I watched at Homeschool Nationals. At 5’4″, I actually had to double-check her listed height because her play and the confidence with which she carried herself suggested a much taller, more experienced athlete. A six-rotation player, Taylor stood out just as much for her defensive contributions and passing as she did at the net. She attacked fearlessly, taking aggressive swings without hesitation, then brought that same relentless energy to the back row. Her all-out approach to the game, combined with the maturity she displayed as a freshman, made her particularly impressive. Taylor is a player whose presence extends well beyond her physical stature.
