About Lauren

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Heyyy it’s Bliss, class of 2028. Im 5’4 I may not be very tall but I have hops! With a great swing. I hustle at everything I do, and I’m always going to be heard on the court no matter how far away.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m very loud! I love cheering on my teammates! Pushing them to their full potential is a great feeling. I also believe any ball is possible to get up you have to have the mindset for the ball not to drop.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I’m currently involved in FCCLA(Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America), Flag football, and also do community service in my free time. I have received academic awards for As n Bs.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Yes, I’m currently in my first year of HS, and unfortunately didn’t make the volleyball team. There was supposed to be another tryout but after trying to contact my HS volleyball coach I got ingored many times. This hurt because I missed so many opportunities and got bullied for not making the team being called “sorry”. But this has pushed me to keep working harder, so I will make it next year.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a Divison I however am not picking about D II because many people might not realize it but they have great programs aswell. But it’s also for school not only just for volleyball. I care lots about my academics.
