River City played in the Select Division at the East Coast championship. Since the Beast of the East had not started their playoffs yet I stopped by to watch them play.
At 6’0″ Lauren played left side. She hit the ball hard, especially when she went down the line. Still a bit raw, but when you consider she is a class of 2030 there is plenty of time for development. She was also playing a year up on the 15 team.
It appears Lauren will attend Midlothian next year. It would not surprise me to see her make the varsity roster as a frosh.
RCVA is scheduled to play in AAUs in Olando in either wave 4 or 5.
