Player Bio
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
As a libero, my style is aggressive, strategic, and fast-paced. I’m vocal, always reading the court, anticipating plays, and going all out to keep the ball off the ground. I focus on creating stability in serve and receive, bringing energy, and leading the back row with confidence and grit.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I’m driven and goal-oriented, with a strong sense of discipline and leadership. I thrive in high-pressure situations, whether in a courtroom simulation, on the volleyball court, or in the classroom. I love being part of a team, pushing others to succeed, and staying grounded in my goals and values.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
Yes—beyond volleyball and track, I’m heavily involved in law and leadership programs. I’m a Mock Trial and Speech & Debate captain, an intern at Fenelli Law Firm, a board member of my school’s Law Cohort, and a Human Relations Ambassador. I volunteer with special needs students at Mariners Church and tutor students from Pre-K through high school. I’ve attended CRF-OC’s Law Day, the UCLA Mock Trial
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
I’ve developed strong leadership, public speaking, time management, and mentoring skills through my roles as a team captain, volunteer, and intern. I know how to lead with compassion and clarity, communicate effectively under pressure, and support others while staying accountable to my goals.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
One of the biggest challenges I’ve faced is learning to balance a demanding academic and extracurricular schedule. Between volleyball, law internships, competitions, and volunteering, I’ve had to master time management and overcome moments of stress and burnout. These challenges have taught me resilience, discipline, and how to stay focused on long-term goals without losing joy in the journey.
What type of college are you looking for?
I’m looking for a college that combines academic rigor with a competitive volleyball program. I want to pursue pre-law or political science while continuing to play at a high level. I’m drawn to schools that value leadership, service, and intellectual curiosity—where I can thrive both as a student and an athlete.
