About Leah

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

My gameplay style is very competitive because I’m always looking for ways to score points.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I have a next ball mentality and I am always trying to stay positive and help my teammates on the court.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am a NJHS member, in my free time I volunteer at N.A.W.S animal shelter, I am an active member of my church, and in the summer I participated in beach volleyball.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed team working and leadership because I am always trying to be a leader on the court by helping my teammates realize their potential and I am team captain for my school and club team.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I have struggled with mental block and burn out but I pushed through with the help of my coach, parents, and teammates.

What type of college are you looking for?

When I go to college I will be looking for a highly competitive and high academic institution.

Leah was a firecracker on the court. I loved her energy. You can tell she has a competitive drive about her, and I love to see that! She made some great swings from the OH spot, and she played all around, displaying good serveand receive as well. She made plays on the court and from any spot she was at.
