Early-season tournaments provide vital reps for athletes like DeyErmand. This Millard South star is new to the Southwest Iowa Third Degree lineup and tightened her hitter connections through last weekend’s event. Nebraska prep enthusiasts are already familiar with DeyErmand’s steady hands, especially as she led Millard South to one of its best-ever fall seasons. Her command of the SWI3D 18 Black offense provided further testament to DeyErmand’s veteran influence and rock-solid distribution.

DeyErmand has been a revelation for this year’s Club Legacy 17 Alpha team. We started to see this skilled setter break out last fall when she dished the Millard South offense with exceptional precision. DeyErmand placed high on Nebraska’s assists leaderboard, and her upward trajectory hasn’t waned with Club Legacy. This dynamic athlete can play around the dial and even hit on the right side when in the frontcourt. 17 Alpha will have several lineup options to wield while chasing a championship in the 17 Club division.

We’re sticking with Club Legacy 17 Alpha for our next entry. This squad has a true two-headed monster at the setter position with DeyErmand playing some of her best volleyball this spring. The caveat here is that DeyErmand is not exclusively known for her smooth setting and pinpoint accuracy. She’s also a high-flying opposite who can put away clutch kills in the front row. Setter-hitter hybrids are always fun to watch, and DeyErmand has distinguished herself as one of the best among her peers.

DeyErmand has been climbing the Class of 2026 ladder since her junior campaign with Millard South High School. She had a productive fall season while setting the Patriot offense, allowing further growth in the Club Legacy gym. DeyErmand and 17 Alpha have logged some impressive results in the 2025 club campaign, including a runner-up finish at the third Midwest Power League. Club Legacy’s setter depth is becoming one of its biggest strengths.

The big schools can get in on the action here, too. DeyErmand is emerging as Millard South’s starting setter and has already put together an impressive highlight tape. Aside from DeyErmand’s ability to set her team up for success, she is also incredibly aggressive in her own attacking and has been tough to stop in the front row.
