About Lexie

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I'm confident, passionate, and competitive. I keep the energy up for my team, and I'm ready to play wherever my team needs me.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I'm very social and outgoing. I get along well with my teammates, and I'm a team player. I'm easy to get along with and encourage others to perform at their best.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I play varsity basketball and varsity softball. I serve on the Athletic Leadership Committee. I'm active in FFA. I'm currently in my 7th year of 4-H, where I serve as the club secretary for the Adams Township 4-H Club.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I attend church at Revolution Community Church, where I volunteer in the 4th-5th-grade classroom. I serve on the Athletic Leadership Committee, a role I was selected for based on recommendations from multiple coaches.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

At birth, I was diagnosed with hearing loss. As a result, I learned to adapt and communicate more effectively with my peers, teammates, and coaches, while also mentoring other athletes facing similar circumstances.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college with a competitive volleyball program, where I can continue to grow as an athlete and academically. I am looking for a college where I can successfully balance academics and athletics, as I am planning to pursue either pre-law or nursing.
