About Alexa

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a six rotation right side hitter who is passionate, aggressive, and always giving it my all type of player who you can count on when things get rough. I play with intelligence when it comes to placing the ball in the open spots on the court.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a fun loving, happy person who is always looking for the best in people and a willing leader. I love to have fun with my teammates on and off the court.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

National Honor Society

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Over the years I have developed leadership skills as well being a great listener. I have played up an age group (16s & 17s) the last two years with my older sister, so I have the ability to work with older players as well as players my own age.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

After my freshman year, I transferred high schools as my sister and I weren't having the best school experience outside of volleyball. I was forced to miss all of my sophomore season as our previous school refused to release my sister and I. It was hard watching my friends and teammates have such an amazing season only to be able to help them in practice and not in games on the court.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college that feels like home, that is competitive and likes to compete at the highest level. Also I would like to find a team where my teammates feel like family.
