It’s important to remember there are quality volleyball players throughout the club circuit. It’s not always strictly located on a program’s top team at an age group. Peters can play. She’s on United’s No. 2 team. The top squad won the USAV Iowa Regional earlier this month. She’s advanced her game after a limited season at Linn-Mar in the fall. Peters produced 31 kills and 12.0 blocks in just 29 sets. Her Sports Recruits page houses video highlights from this winter and spring. On them, we witness a versatile attacker just as likely to put one down from the right-side pin as she is to do so from the middle. Peters moves well laterally and adjusts to set location, giving her a wide kill zone. It’s a whip-like swing that’s heavy and gets through the hitting zone quickly. She diagnoses the opposing attack well, which positions her to throw up an effective block.

Peters found herself in the Lion rotation as a sophomore last season and held her own against older competition. She contributed 29 kills and 28.0 blocks. Peters has taken a step forward for Adrenaline this club campaign. She’s improved her blocking, which already was sound. She utilizes her long arms and good timing to resist the opponent’s attack. Peters’ attack is primed to do more damage in 2025, when her power and consistency on the swing will be a big plus for Linn-Mar.
