Lexy stands out as a dependable serve receiver, showing consistency in her platform and holding her angle cleanly through the motion of the pass. This technique allows her to produce accurate, high-quality passes with steady height, giving her setter the best chance to run a smooth and balanced offense. She reads serves well, stays calm under pressure, and shows discipline in serve receive, which sets her apart. On top of her technical ability, Lexy brings a personable attitude and a strong work ethic to the court. She is a teammate who leads by example, stays engaged in every play, and adds energy to her team’s back row.

Rendon was in great form playing for TW Skyline 15 Royal in the last club season and has joined Katy United for the next one. She was one of the standouts in our freshman showcase one year ago and has improved by leaps and bounds since then. Rendon is one of those libero who truly take charge of the backcourt, not only by getting more touches than anyone else on defense but also by consistently communicating with her teammates and keeping things organized. She’s also excellent in serve-receive and has a tricky floater, which often generates aces and gets opponents out of system.

Rendon’s TW Skyline 15 Royal team was the second-best in the event, ending the day with two wins and one loss. Alternating between libero and defensive specialist, she gave the team a lot of stability with her strong play on the backcourt. She did a great job of communicating with her teammates and efficiently handled a sizeable share of the court in serve-receive. Also very active on defense, Rendon made a big impact from the service line, getting several aces and generating many free balls to her team with the tough floater.
