Lefty setter, Libby Wilson Libby Wilson 5'5" | S/RS Berthoud | 2027 State CO is a treat to watch. Wilson might be one of the most athletically gifted setters on this list. Despite only being listed at 5’5″, she is a force in the front row, as a blocker and attacker. Her ability to dish out clean sets by jump setting also sets her apart from many others who play the position. With fast feet, and even faster hands, she’s an incredibly dynamic setter who runs an intelligent offense, knowing how to pull blockers, reverse the flow, and when to just set the hot hitter. All of these attributes together make her one of the most impressive setters in all of 4A…and maybe even all of Colorado.

Wilson is a lefty setter who is quick and has a very smooth, efficient jump set. She sets on the top of her head no matter where she’s planning to push the ball, helping to deceive the opposing blockers, and isn’t afraid to take opportunities to dump the ball and earn her team a point. I always love seeing setters who truly play defense first, and Wilson is one of these. She makes digs with ease and does a great job directing them to her libero to keep their hitters swinging.
