About Lillian

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

When I play volleyball, I’m focused, determined, and ready to fight, but I always remind myself to have fun and play with my teammates. I love to feed off of my teammates energy and create my own energy by celebrating and supporting my teammates and putting myself and others to a high standard. I try to stay relaxed and confident throughout the game because I that is when I can help my team most.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Off the volleyball court, I would say I am a shyer more introverted person that feeds off of others energy. But on the court, I step more into a competitive and energetic version of myself. I always want to win and I live to hype up and celebrate my teammates while playing. While playing, I like to be focused, observant, and confident and never let a ball hit the floor.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Yes, I do multiple clubs at my school including omicron which is a tutoring program to kids in the neighborhood, student council in my school, and my church’s leadership team. I also have and will participate in track and I’ve received academic awards for grade averages.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I think throughout my life experiences and volleyball experiences, I’ve developed many qualities. Some would be leadership because I’ve learned to support and push my teammates and be rock for them to lean on in hard times and be a person to celebrate with in good times. think I’ve also developed a persistent and relentless spirit. Volleyball and life make you work hard and bring out your best.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

No, I wouldn’t say I have faced any significant challenges. I live an extremely blessed life and all the challenges I go through, I trust are in Gods plan, and I grow because of them.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m still very young so I haven’t fully figured out my dream college ideals, but I would love to go to a college with an amazing community. One with a huge, enthusiastic, and loyal fan base that brings energy. I would love to go to a high academic and athletic school that challenges me in both ways.
