About Lilly

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

My gameplay style is all about bringing energy and excitement to the court, whether we're in a high pressure game or just having fun at practice. I love to hype up my teammates, celebrate every play (big or small), stay positive, and keep the atmosphere fun. At the same time, I'm serious about the game, I stay focused, work hard (during season and off), and always give my best effort.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I'm definitely a bubbly person. I love to have fun and laugh with my team, whether we're warming up or in the middle of a tough match. I think keeping things light and positive helps everyone play their best. I have a "just go" mentality on the court: I'll do whatever it takes to keep the ball off the ground. No matter what, I'm always ready to give my all for my team.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have definitely developed leadership and teamwork by always bringing my team together, whether it's motivating everyone during tough games or making sure every voice is heard. I focus on building trust, keeping energy high, and helping everyone feel confident to play their best.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

When I first started playing there were definitely times when I struggled with mental blocks, like hesitating on serve receive or second guessing in general. It felt frustrating, but I started incorporating little things, like deep breaths to breakthrough those moments. Since, i've really switched my mindset. Now, I see challenges as chances to grow, and learn more about the game.

What type of college are you looking for?

I'm looking for a college with a strong radiology program, and an inclusive atmosphere.
