About Lily

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Energetic and team-first focus! I take pride in my defensive consistency and ability to keep plays alive, while setting my teammates up for success and building strong on-court connections.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Driven, focused and resilient! I hold myself to a high standards, stay focused in situations under pressure, always bringing energy and support to my team (on the court or from the bench).

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am actively involved in my both my school and community through student council, extracurricular activities & charity work. I am currently serving as a Grade 11 Student Council Rep and am part of our local Rotary Club. Academically and as a leader I have been recognized, including the Ontario Principals’ Leadership Award and consistent placement on the honour roll throughout high school.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed strong leadership skills through my roles as Team Captain, Student Council Representative, and Minister of Spirit, learning how to motivate and support others both on and off the court. I focus on building strong connections with my teammates, communicating effectively, and always creating a positive environment for all.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Balancing school, volleyball, and other activities hasn’t always been easy, but it’s taught me discipline, focus, and how to stay positive under pressure. These challenges have made me a stronger teammate, become a more vocal leader, and someone who steps up when it matters most!

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college that challenges me both academically and athletically, where I can continue developing as a volleyball player while pursuing my dream of studying aviation and becoming a pilot. I want a program that values hard work, leadership, and the bond of sisterhood on the team, where I can grow alongside teammates who push each other to be their best.
