Holthaus did a fantastic job running the offense for her Iowa Elite team as they battled through the tournament. She has great hands and delivers a clean, consistent ball to her attackers. What sets her apart from her peers is that she has excellent court vision. She reads the opposing teams defense very well and thus is able to isolate her attackers setting them up one on one against the defense. She will also throw down setter dumps that teams didn’t see coming allowing her to score repeatedly herself.
