About Lily

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I would describe my gameplay as confident and competitive, but also calm and fast.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I would describe my mentality as a next play mentality, also focused. My personality is adaptable, ambitious, hard working, and supportive.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I have received an academic excellence award from my school, I am also involved in national honors society. Recently this year I was awarded athlete of the month for November, and I was awarded athlete of the month.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Volleyball has helped me develop leadership skills and also helped me learn more about working together as a team.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

A significant challenge I faced this past year was my grandmother dying. She was an amazing human and meant the world to me. When she first passed, it was hard for me to move on and start playing again. As time went on I started working harder to make her proud.

Coming all the way from Michigan, Lily shows up ready to demonstrate how good of an offensive player she is. Lily offensive skills were evident from warm up to the end of the event. She has striking arm strength and transitional speed to make the ideal hitter from every position on the net. As I observed Lily playing in real time during the Sunshine Classic, she applied all her skills to successfully assist her team offensively and defensively.  Lily has a bright future; she is a prospect on the making.
