How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I come in with energy and prepare for the match. I always make sure I’m ready for the match.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality is stable. I make sure that when I am happy and smiling my team is as well. I try and keep a positive mindset.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Being able to help someone grow with their feelings and adding it onto the court. As well as leading my group all together.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I compare myself to others but always remember that I’m working for what I want so nothing can be the same or different from my opponent.

What type of college are you looking for?

Colleges that keep me on my feet and can help me grow as an athlete and a human.

Lindiwe embraced the competitive battles throughout the weekend, thriving in the intense rallies that kept both teams fighting for every point. Some of her favorite moments came during the long exchanges where neither side was willing to let the ball hit the floor. Romero pointed to the second day of Triple Crown as a particularly challenging experience, but one that helped create lasting memories and valuable lessons. When matches became difficult, she stayed focused on making the most of the season’s final tournament.

Since it was the last tournament, I wanted to end off with wins and great memories with my team, Romero said.

As she prepares for the next season, Romero is focused on becoming more reactive and increasing her awareness of the court, skills that will help her anticipate plays and make an even greater impact for her team moving forward.
