Myhre was a huge utility player for Caledonia this season as I think I saw her taking swings from all across the net this past fall. Her club and high school experience have proven invaluable. Myhre made an impact no matter where she was on the net. She provides length and physicality at the net for any squad to thrive.

Myhre can swing from anywhere on the net and terminate but I have to say it is really fun to see her swing from the pins because she generates so much force. She puts up a monster block and plays the part of the gatekeeper perfectly. Myhre plays much bigger than her 6’2 frame and I can’t wait to see her put it into action next fall at Winona.

Liv can compete at the net and it’s been so fun to see her grow as a player over the years. Her arm is up early and when she takes a fast swing on the ball there is no stopping it. She does a great job of finding a way around the block.

Myhre has a lot of length and a very high contact point but I was impressed with her ability to expose the split in the block. She is athletic and she knows how to take control of the net. Myhre is not only a powerful offensive player but she is also intelligent and efficient as a blocker.

Myhre is not new to me but I somehow missed ranking her earlier. I will blame the fact that I sometimes think of her as a Wisconsin player since she plays for Xtreme out of LaCrosse, WI and I’ve had the pleasure of working with her at the Badger Region High Performance camps. Myhre is not one to be forgotten though. She has long limbs and a stifling block that can fluster any opposing attacker. Myhre is loud, active, and involved on both the offensive and defensive side of the ball. I’ve also seen her now play both middle and terminate from either pin. She is a very exciting prospect coming out of Caledonia.

There aren’t many blockers that can reach as high as Myhre. I enjoy seeing her take big swings on the outside pin but not lose that middle mindset of taking control of the net. Overpasses in her direction don’t stand a chance.

Myhre has always gotten a high contact point because of her naturally long limbs but she has gotten so much stronger over the past couple years and it shows in her agility across the net as well as her explosive power from the floor.
