Austin Kingsley | Prep Dig Scout
Drevo has steadily climbed the ladder at VCNebraska , so her presence on a stock-riser feature is nothing new. We documented VCNebraska 17 Elite’s Open ascent at the Northern Lights Qualifier, but the team has left little doubt about its GJNC worthiness. Drevo helped her stacked squad “double qualify” through a podium finish at NEQ. Whenever VCN had an in-system opportunity, Drevo was a surefire option on the right pin.

Drevo has climbed the ladder in the VCNebraska gym, landing her on the club’s top 17s squad for 2026. We already know the move has paid off after 17 Elite’s run to a 17 Open bid in Minneapolis. Prior seasons have shown us how terminal Drevo can be on the left side, but she primarily hits on the other pin for 17 Elite. It’s a perfect move for a VCN lineup that has been increasingly willing to experiment with two-setter offenses. Drevo can come off the bench and immediately transform 17 Elite’s firepower and physicality behind the setter. The Lincoln Christian standout can now dial in her connections further in preparation for GJNC.

Drevo ascended to the VCNebraska 16 Elite’s 2025 lineup and has already proven her readiness for the national gauntlet. The Lincoln Christian multi-sport athlete is a multi-pin threat who can also dig dimes in the middle-back area. We’re accustomed to seeing Drevo dominate on the left pin, as she did with VCN 15 Black during last summer’s run through Nationals. She now brings the same influence to 16 Elite and will be a key part of the team’s future pin rotations.

Drevo’s dynamic scoring caught us all off guard toward the end of this year’s club season. She anchored a pin-heavy VCNebraska 15 Black attack during the team’s deep run at GJNC over the summer. The Lincoln Christian prep athlete has a strong approach that allows her to go over or around opposing blocks. Her development is just beginning.

Let’s stick with the VCNebraska camp. Drevo’s quick arm is a reliable asset for 15 Black under any circumstances. Our most recent Midwest Power League put Drevo’s out-of-system termination on display. She gets her feet to the ball, has a fast finish to her approach, and drives the ball past floor defenders with ease. 2024 offered an extraordinary look at VCN’s 15s depth, and we can’t wait to document this club’s future success.

Lincoln-area 2027s are on the rise. Keep an eye on Drevo, who can play outside hitter or defensive specialist for VCNebraska 15 Black. She can lock down 15 Black’s passing formation regardless of which position she’s playing. Of course, we also have to factor in Drevo’s terminal arm in the frontcourt, which is particularly effective on up-tempo sets inside the pin. This Lincoln Christian prep athlete brings a little of everything.
