About Livia

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Hello my name is Livia Goebel. I am a middle hitter from Edwardsville, Illinois. I bring a strong presence at the net, both offensively and defensively, and I am a fierce competitor. I have great court awareness and athletic ability.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I have a empathetic personality. I care deeply about my teammates and my friends. I am very respectful to coaches, teammates, and opponents. I am very competitive and hate to lose. I am a leader by nature.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am involved in EPIC club at school.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Playing multiple sports since a young age has helped me to develop leadership and teamwork skills. I always give 110% and lead by example. Playing sports has taught me communication skills, and how to adapt to different work ethic and personalities styles.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking to play Division 1 volleyball at the collegiate level. I want to go someplace that I fit in both from a competitive and academic standpoint.
