Edwards and her Katy United 18 Adidas team will face some tough competition this weekend. A middle-turned-into-right-side-hitter, she adjusted well to the position, using her size and physicality to make an impact at the net. A six-footer, Edwards has a heavy right arm and can score at a good clip from the right – because of her ability to play in the middle, she can also hit quicker sets on the right, creating problems for opposing blockers. She’s also a very good blocker, who knows how to take up space from opposing hitters above the net and plays very aggressively above the net with her long arms.
